This project aimed to improve food safety and security among local communities.
It intended to establish a legal framework that promotes food safety and food security.
It interrogated into WFP’s distribution of super-cereal flour in Amudat District that killed 2 community members and many hospitalized as well as the government’s failure to protect the locals from consumption of super-cereal flour that was contaminated by aflatoxins.
It calls for the government’s action towards the establishment of food reserves and action plans on ensuring the quality of food aid.
