1300 women trading at Katuna Border
Detail description of project
The project aimed to bring social justice to women traders at Katuna border who upon the closure of the border ceased to do petty trade businesses that earned them a living for survival.
The failure by both governments to support women to find food to eat and compensate the losses they incurred as a result of border closure was a violation of their food and economic rights that prompted a court redress for which CEFROHT provided legal guidelines and litigation services.
