ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
To legally empower communities and duty bearers and build their capacities in economic, food, nutrition, and health well-being rights.
Under this program, CEFROHT engages communities and the duty bearers at all levels including the judiciary, and trains them on the right to economic, food, nutrition, and health well-being, and social accountability approaches.
It also engages communities in advocacy for their rights. And also empower communities in agriculture and appropriate technologies for food and nutrition security.
“CEFROHTdeveloped a unique model called the “community food and agriculture advocates” model, the model involves empowerment of community members technically and legally in agriculture and food value chains anchored on human rights aimed at creating a self-reliant community capable of holding duty bearers accountable and solving its own problems.
